AdTiming Advertising Policies

1. Introduction

Welcome to AdTiming’s advertising platform. To foster a healthy, orderly, and vibrant ecosystem, AdTiming has established these Advertising Policies. They serve as a guide for acceptable advertising content and practices on the platform. Advertisers are required to comply with these policies as well as applicable laws and regulations. Non-compliance may result in the removal of ads, suspension, or termination of accounts.


Scope of Application

This policy applies to:
1. Ads served or purchased through AdTiming’s platform, including those displayed outside the platform.
2. In-app advertisements hosted within the AdTiming network.

By placing an ad order, you agree to adhere to these policies, which are subject to periodic updates without prior notice.


2. Ad Review Process

All ads are subject to a review process before being displayed on the platform to ensure compliance with AdTiming Advertising Policies.


What is Reviewed?

The review includes, but is not limited to:
1. Ad Content: Images, text, and overall messaging.
2. Targeting Parameters: Accuracy and compliance with restrictions.
3. Landing Page: Content relevance, functionality, and compliance with policies.

After the review process, advertisers will receive a notification indicating whether their ad has been approved or rejected.

What Happens if Your Ad is Rejected?

If your ad is not approved:
1. You will receive an email detailing the reason for rejection.
2. You may edit the ad to comply with the policies and resubmit it for review.
3. If you believe the rejection was in error, you may contact our support team for further clarification.

Violation Handling Mechanism

1. Notice and Correction
For the first violation, AdTiming will send a notice and provide corrective suggestions.
2. Suspension
If corrections are not made as required, related ad campaigns will be suspended.
3. Permanent Ban
Severe or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban on ad campaigns.

Appeal Mechanism

Advertisers may appeal through the AdTiming platform, providing detailed explanations and supporting documents. AdTiming will respond within 5 business days.

Creative Content Review Standards

1. Language and Cultural Adaptation
Ads must align with the linguistic habits and cultural context of the target audience.
2. Prohibited Words and Imagery
Prohibited use of offensive, discriminatory language, and imagery; no content involving violence, gore, or adult themes.
3. Design and Visual Requirements
Ads should be clear, visually appealing, and aligned with the advertiser's brand image. Low-resolution images, mismatched layouts, or other visual defects are not allowed.
4. Copywriting
Copy must be concise, accurate, and free of misleading or unclear language.
5. Technical Standards
Ad dimensions, file sizes, and technical parameters must meet AdTiming platform requirements.

Ad Behavior Standards

1. User Interaction
Ads must offer clear close or exit options and must not force users to click or complete actions.
2. Data Privacy
Personal data collection, storage, or sharing without user consent is prohibited and must comply with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.

3. Prohibited Content

AdTiming prohibits the following types of content:

1. Tobacco and Related Products
Ads promoting the sale or use of tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, and related paraphernalia are not permitted.
2. Discriminatory Practices
Ads must not discriminate or encourage discrimination based on personal attributes such as race, gender, religion, age, or sexual orientation.
3. Illegal Products or Services
Promotion of illegal activities, products, or services is strictly prohibited.
4. Drugs and Drug-Related Products
Ads must not promote the sale or use of illegal or recreational drugs.
5. Unsafe Supplements
The promotion of supplements deemed unsafe by authorities or AdTiming is not allowed.
6. Adult Content
Ads must not include nudity, explicit content, or sexually suggestive materials.
7. Weapons, Ammunition, or Explosives
Ads promoting these items, including accessories, are prohibited.

4. Restricted Content

Certain content categories require prior approval or must meet specific conditions to be advertised:

1. Subscription Services
Ads for subscription-based services must clearly disclose terms and associated costs.
2. Financial and Insurance Products
Ads related to financial and insurance products, such as credit cards, loans, or insurance, should aim to present clear and accessible information about fees, interest rates, and terms whenever possible.
3. Alcohol
Alcohol-related ads must comply with applicable laws and age restrictions. Advertising alcohol is prohibited in certain regions.
4. Cosmetic Procedures and Weight Loss
These ads generally target users aged 18 and older whenever possible.
5. Cryptocurrency Products
Ads for cryptocurrency trading or services require prior written approval.

5. Targeting and Positioning

Advertisers must use targeting options responsibly:
1. No Discrimination: Targeting based on sensitive personal attributes is prohibited.
2. Accuracy: Ad content and landing pages must accurately represent the promoted products or services.
3. Relevance: Ads should be relevant and appropriate for the targeted audience.

6. Data Use Restrictions

AdTiming prioritizes the responsible use of data:
1. Ad data may only be used for legitimate advertising purposes.
2. Advertisers must not use data to create or modify user profiles without explicit consent.
3. Data sharing with third parties, such as ad networks, is prohibited unless aggregated and anonymized.

7. Intellectual Property

Advertisers must respect intellectual property rights:
1. Ads must not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights.
2. Unauthorized use of AdTiming’s branding, logos, or trademarks is prohibited.

8. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with these policies may lead to the following actions:
1. Ad removal.
2.Suspension or termination of the advertiser's account.
3. Legal action for severe violations, such as intellectual property infringement.

Advertisers will have the opportunity to rectify issues by modifying and resubmitting their ads for review.

9. Policy Updates

AdTiming reserves the right to update these policies periodically to reflect changes in regulations or platform standards. It is the responsibility of the advertisers to stay informed of any changes.
